Beautiful OrigamiChristmas Present Tags

A collection of beautiful origami Christmas present tags I have folded over the years.

As always, I am giving credit to the creators and linking to the tutorials so you can fold them yourself.

I love Christmas. I love the beautiful wrapping paper that appears in stores every holiday season, and in recent years I’ve started folding my own gift tags.

They add a lovely handmade touch to presents and make it easy to see who each gift belongs to. Plus, they are a fun little project that can be made from scraps of paper you already have at home.

Cat Inside a Christmas Tree Tag

These tags are absolutely adorable, easy to fold, and highly customizable.

The model uses two pieces of paper: a square sheet for the cat and a rectangular sheet for the Christmas tree. In the tutorial, the recommended sizes are 13 × 13 cm for the cat and 26 × 13 cm for the tree.

I don’t remember the exact sizes I used since it’s been a while since I folded these tags and I’m only now showcasing them on my website.

One of my favorite things about this model is how much room there is for personalization. You can draw different facial expressions on the cat and decorate the tree however you like, making each tag unique.

Origami Mitten Tags

For the mitten tag, the tutorial uses a sheet measuring 7.5 × 15 cm. Once again, I don’t remember the exact size I used, but I believe it was similar.

These are simple, charming little tags that look wonderful attached to Christmas gifts. Using patterned or double-sided paper can create especially beautiful results and add even more character to your wrapping.

They’re quick to fold, beginner-friendly, and perfect for making several tags in one sitting.
